Back in the day I worked for a major airline TWA. (Trans World Airlines) I was in Customer Relations, Executive Offices. If a customer was unable to resolve their problem on a local level, or not satisfied with answers received from lower management, they’d call TWA Headquarters in New York City. Their demands were pretty simple, we want answers and we want them now! My job was not only to get those answers immediately, but also to their complete satisfaction. One afternoon I received a call from a an irate passenger whose husband we misplaced. Yes. We lost her husband!
